Mason and I ventured out into the cold on Thanksgiving morning to walk through downtown and campus for the Turkey Trax. We were neither first not last, saw friends, enjoyed our cinnamon roll at the finish line, and felt way better about eating so much cheese when we got home.
Both kids have practices during break so we opted to stay home and have a low key day with just the 4 of us. It was quite lovely.
Both kids made a side again - Zane went with mac and cheese and Hannah did her accordion potatoes.
Then immediately on to the next holiday! The tree farm that we loved before it went out of business due to a bug taking out most of their inventory and Covid, posted that they had one more field of trees. We went on a snowy/rainy morning because it was the only time all 4 of us had available and found a winner.
It's a stout one.
