Dave & Doris Visit

Dave and Doris came for a visit! They were very understanding of our busy schedule and as Doris put it "were folded into" our schedule and visited with whomever happened to be home at the time.

Hannah, Mason, Dave and Doris took a walk around the paved path at the Audubon Park.

I drove Zane to Independence, MO for a track meet so he didn't get the entire team sick with his relentless cough. Poor guy.

We all went to Shelter Gardens to see the tulips and check out the old school house.

Hannah had a track meet in Jeff City. Here she is getting ready to pole vault.
Hannah shows Doris the bass.
We were able to show Dave and Doris how to make Ukrainian Easter Eggs!

Hannah had her Honors Orchestra concert.

All Sports

After Spring Break things got crazy. Both kids had track practice every day and Zane had basketball practice twice a week. On top of bass lessons and keeping up with school and social activities, Mason and I were busy chauffeurs!

Zane is throwing javelin for JV and as of this post has a PR of 39 something. He's continually working on his form and approach. His goal is to throw 40m by the end of his freshman season.

Zane is throwing discus for Varsity! We are proud and amazed that he's up there with the big boys as a freshman!! Only 2 athletes can compete in each event for Varsity and for disc it's a senior and Zane. The senior has been amazing at mentoring Zane and we are forever thankful.

Hannah has been on her own track journey! Her goal is to Pole Vault but that is a crazy technical event and she is working on bringing it all together to clear the bar. In the meantime, she is running the 100m and 200m.

On the weekends, Zane usually has a basketball tournament in either STL or KC.
Ozzy is weird.
The dogs don't make relaxing easy.
Legends got 2nd in the Threat Hoops tournament.
